Clear aligners
Gradual, almost invisible straightening with a series of clear trays made from a digital scan.
Clear aligners move teeth in small, planned steps using a series of removable trays. They are comfortable, discreet and easy to clean around, and you can see your planned result before you commit.
Treatment is led by Dr. Priya Nair, who looks after all of our orthodontic work.

Step by step
What happens at your visit
-
Consultation and scan
A relaxed conversation about what you would like to change, and a quick digital scan with no putty trays.
-
Your plan on screen
We show you the proposed movements, how long they should take and what they will cost, before you decide.
-
Wear your aligners
Each set is worn for around 22 hours a day and changed every one to two weeks. Take them out to eat and clean.
-
Short reviews
Quick check-ins every six to eight weeks to make sure things are on track.
-
Retain your result
Teeth can drift back, so you finish with retainers and a clear plan to keep them.
Afterwards
Aftercare
- Rinse trays in cool water and brush them gently each morning. Never use hot water.
- Brush your teeth before putting trays back in after a meal.
- Keep your trays in their case when they are not in your mouth, never wrapped in a napkin.
- Wear your retainers as advised once treatment is complete.
Questions
About clear aligners
Are aligners suitable for everyone?
Not every case. Some bites need other approaches, and we will tell you honestly if aligners are not the best option.
Will they affect my speech?
Many people notice a slight lisp for a day or two. It usually disappears as your tongue adapts.
What if I lose a tray?
Call us. Usually you can move on to the next set or we will order a replacement.
