Children's dentistry
Friendly first visits, fluoride, sealants and a clinic where being small is no problem.
Children’s teeth need a different kind of care: patient, playful and honest. Our kids’ corner is a place to wait, read and settle before a short, gentle appointment with Dr. Lena Haas.

Step by step
What happens at your visit
-
Come and say hello
A first visit can be just that: a look around, a ride in the chair and a high five. No tools unless your child wants to see them.
-
A gentle look
We count teeth, check how they are coming through and let your child hold the mirror.
-
Protect the teeth
Fluoride varnish and sealants, if suitable, help guard back teeth against decay.
-
Tips for home
Short, practical advice for brushing, snacks and bedtime routines, for your child and for you.
Afterwards
Aftercare
- Help children brush until about age seven, twice a day, with a smear or pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste.
- Keep sugary drinks to mealtimes, and water between them.
- Praise a brave visit however it went; the next one gets easier.
Questions
About children's dentistry
When should my child first visit?
Around their first birthday, or when the first teeth appear. Early visits are short and friendly.
My child is very anxious. What can we do?
Tell us in advance. We can slow down, show every step first and break treatment into small visits.
Can a parent stay in the room?
Of course. Most children are happier with a familiar face beside the chair.
