Dr. Maren Okafor
Founded Brightwell after fifteen years in hospital and community dentistry, with a belief that nobody should leave a dental chair confused.
Principal dentist and founder
Maren opened Brightwell in a former bakery on Alder Row with one chair and a rule: explain first, then treat. She still sees new patients herself, and leads the team’s approach to nervous visitors.
Outside the practice she runs a small community clinic for school children, and grows far too many tomatoes.
