Workshop: accessible components from scratch

Build a tabs widget, a combobox and a modal dialog with nothing but HTML, a little CSS and the smallest possible amount of JavaScript, testing each with a keyboard and a screen reader as we go.

Participants leave with a working repository and a set of patterns they can lift into any framework. Bring a laptop; no prior accessibility experience is required.

Bring: A laptop with Node 20+ and a text editor. Basic HTML and JavaScript.
