Tickets
Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?
Refunds are available in full until 30 days before the event, and at 50% until 14 days before. After that, you can transfer your pass to a colleague for free by emailing us their name.
Can my company pay by invoice?
Yes. Choose the invoice option at checkout or write to us. Team packs are always invoiced, and every receipt shows VAT separately.
Who counts as a student?
Anyone in full-time education, in a bootcamp, or between jobs and learning. You show proof (a student card, an enrolment letter, or just a short honest email) at the registration desk.
The early bird tickets are gone. Can I join a waiting list?
Early bird is sold out. Cancelled passes are returned to the pool at the regular price, and the waiting list gets the first offer, in order.
Programme
Will the talks be recorded?
Main Hall, Anvil and Kiln talks are recorded and published within three weeks, free for everyone. Workshops are not recorded, so that people can speak freely.
Where can I find the slides?
Speakers add a link on their session page. Until then, the slides link shows as a placeholder.
How do workshop seats work?
Buy the workshop add-on with your pass, then choose up to two workshops. Seats are limited to 60 per workshop and are first come, first served.
What language are the talks in?
English. Live captions are shown on screens in the Main Hall, Anvil and Kiln rooms.
Venue & travel
How do I get to the venue?
Port Verrin Central is a six-minute walk from the venue, and tram line 4 stops at Rail Yard. The airport is 25 minutes by train. More details are on the venue page.
Is there a conference hotel?
There is no official hotel, but Yard House Hotel is across the street and offers a conference rate. See the venue page for other options at different budgets.
Is food provided, and what about dietary needs?
Lunch and coffee are included on both days. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher and gluten-free options are always available; tell us about allergies when you register.
Accessibility
Is the venue step-free?
Yes. All rooms, toilets and the hallway are on one level with step-free access from the plaza. A lift serves the upper balcony in the Main Hall.
Is there a quiet space?
A staffed quiet room is open all day on the mezzanine, with low light, no screens and seating. Ear defenders are available at the registration desk.
Can I bring a child or a guide dog?
Assistance animals are welcome everywhere. Children are welcome in the hallway and quiet room; the code of conduct applies to everyone. Get in touch if you need a childcare grant.
