Request a consultation

Request a consultation.

Three short steps. We will check for conflicts and reply within one business day. The first conversation, up to thirty minutes, is free.

Important. Sending a request does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not legal advice. Please do not send confidential or privileged material until we have confirmed that we can act for you.

Progress through the request form

  1. The matter
  2. The detail
  3. Your details
Part 1 of 3What is the matter about?

Choose the closest matter type.

Part 2 of 3A few lines, and how urgent it is

0 of 1,500 characters, at least 40. Please do not include confidential or privileged material; we ask for documents later.

Please write at least a couple of sentences (40 characters or more).

How urgent is it?

Used only for the conflict check. Deleted if we do not take the matter on.

Part 3 of 3How and where to reach you

Please enter your name.

Please enter a valid email address.

Use digits, spaces, + and - only.

Where would you like to meet?

Choose where you would like to meet.

Before you send. Sending this form does not create an attorney-client relationship, and we cannot treat what you send as confidential legal advice until we have run a conflict check and confirmed in writing that we act for you. We may decline a matter, in which case we will tell you promptly so that you can look elsewhere. Do not rely on a reply to a first request as legal advice, and do not send privileged or sensitive documents.

We reply within one business day.

Starting out and confidentiality.

What should I prepare before a consultation?

A short chronology, the key documents (the contract, the letter, the draft) and a one-line statement of what a good outcome looks like for you. Do not worry if it is messy; we will tidy it with you. If a deadline is running, tell us the date first.

Can we meet by video?

Yes. Most first consultations take place by video or telephone, and every office has a room set up for hybrid meetings. We will confirm the format and send a link when we confirm the time.

How quickly will you reply to a request?

Within one business day, with either a time for the first conversation or a short note explaining why we cannot help (for example a conflict of interest) and who might.

Does sending a request create an attorney-client relationship?

No. Sending the form or an email does not create a relationship, and we cannot treat it as confidential legal advice until we have checked for conflicts and confirmed in an engagement letter. Please do not include sensitive details or privileged documents in a first message.

Why do you ask who the other parties are?

To check for conflicts of interest. If we already act for someone on the other side, or have acted in a way that would compromise you, we must decline. Names are used for that check only, and are deleted if we do not take the matter on.

How is my information stored?

In an encrypted matter system with access limited to the people working on your file. This text is demo content for the template: replace it with a description of your own systems and retention periods.
