A property management dashboard for a boutique hotel of 38 rooms with a spa and a restaurant: a room rack (tape chart) with drag, resize, conflict checks and full keyboard control, reservations with filters, CSV export and a booking wizard, front desk check-in and check-out with key cards and folios, guest profiles with stay history, housekeeping, maintenance, spa and dining, a rate calendar with restrictions and bulk edit, channels with rate parity, and occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and pickup reports. Staybook FAQ

Does Staybook match the Azure hotel website?

Yes. Staybook is the back office of the same fictional hotel at Cala Serena: same limestone and navy family, the same six room types and the same spa menu. They share names, not code, so each works on its own.

What happens when two stays clash on the room rack?

The move is refused. A stay cannot go onto a room with an overlapping stay or out-of-order block, or a room too small for the party, and arrivals cannot move before today. In-house stays keep their arrival date and can change room and departure. The rules live in src/lib/stay.ts.

Can the rack be used without a mouse?

Yes. Arrows move between bookings, M moves a stay, E extends it, Enter confirms and Esc cancels; on touch screens you tap and use Edit stay in the reservation drawer.

How is the folio calculated?

Room at the net nightly rate plus 10% VAT, a city tax per adult and night, and extras, minus payments. VAT and city tax are editable in Settings.

How do I connect it to a real PMS or channel manager?

The data is seeded (about 1,700 reservations and 1,300 guests) around a frozen clock in src/data/clock.ts. Replace NOW with new Date() and the initial state of StayProvider with your API data; actions such as moveReservation, checkIn, checkOut and createReservation are where to call your backend.

When can I buy Staybook?

Staybook is coming soon. The live demo is complete; the template goes on sale at $39 shortly.

Can I use Staybook for a client project?

Yes. The license covers personal and commercial projects, including client work. Reselling or redistributing the template itself is not allowed.
