Brightwell FAQ
Does the booking flow book real appointments?
No. It is a front-end demo: times come from the opening hours minus a fixed set of fake booked slots, and nothing is sent or stored. The README explains three ways to connect it: a Cal.com embed or links, your practice-management system's availability API, or a webhook to Zapier, Make or n8n.
How do I add a treatment or a dentist?
Add a Markdown file in src/content/treatments or src/content/team. A treatment sets its icon, from price and visit length; a team member lists the treatments they do and the days they work, and the booking demo uses both.
Can a treatment page open the booking with that treatment selected?
Yes. /book/?reason=<treatment-slug> preselects the reason, so each treatment page can link straight into the flow.
Where do I change prices and payment plans?
The price list is src/content/prices.json, grouped by section; the payment plans are paymentPlans in src/config/site.ts. The insurance block on the pricing page is a marked placeholder.
Is the content medical advice?
No. All names, prices, qualifications and copy are fictional placeholders written to be generic. Replace them with your practice's own reviewed content, and do not collect clinical details through website forms.
Is there a dark mode?
No. Brightwell ships one designed light mode, with tokens for paper, deep teal, mint and coral in src/styles/global.css.
When can I buy Brightwell?
Brightwell is coming soon. The live demo is complete; the template goes on sale at $29 shortly.
Can I use Brightwell for a client project?
Yes. The license covers personal and commercial projects, including client work. Reselling or redistributing the template itself is not allowed.
